Technical details

The Soave Classico DOC El Vegro 2011 comes from a collection of selected grapes from vineyards located on the south-east of Foscarino Hill (hill of volcanic origin), at the time of the ripening of the grapes, in the first half of the month of October. After harvesting, the grapes were transported to the winery where it was pressed. The must obtained with a soft pressing was cold worked and fermented without sulfur in steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
After fermentation, the wine was aged in stainless steel, and always kept at a controlled temperature, processed multiple times in its yeast, until it reached the characteristic smell and taste.
Bottling took place in late May.

Organoleptic characteristics

Straw yellow color, with golden reflections. Intense, penetrating floral and citrus smell. When tasting the wine, the feels of apricot and green apple are strengthened by an hint of acidity that keeps the throat fresh and mineral, without forgetting, finally, the characteristic taste of Garganega grapes: almonds.

Technical details

Recioto di Soave Vigne delle Fate is produced harvesting selected grapes from vineyards on the south-eastern slopes of Mount Foscarino (volcanic hill), in a time frame that, depending on the season and on ripening of the grapes, comes between late September and October. Once gathered, the grapes are hung in well-aerated locales, where it is left to dry until March, when pressing takes place. The soft-pressed must obtained is then fermented in temperature-controlled steel vats.
After fermenting, the wine is aged in wooden barrels until it reaches the characteristic smell and taste.

Organoleptic characteristics

The wine is light amber in color, with persistent hints of flowers, apricot, acacia and caramel. The well balanced acidity leaves in the mouth sensations of apricot, fig, vanilla and dates, without forgetting, finally, the characteristic taste of Garganega grapes: almonds.
